In its 2023 report Eurochild collected information on the rights of children in the countries of Europe. 38 members of Eurochild contributed data about 26 countries with 5 aims:
Assess the situation of children’s rights in each country and provide recommendations to address any issues or gaps
Build knowledge on the experiences of children, families, and communities living in poverty and social exclusion
Assess whether the Child Guarantee National Action Plans align with the countries’ needs, and the scale of Eurochild members’ and children’s engagement in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating them
Assess the extent to which the European Semester 2023 Country Report and Recommendations are aligned to the lived experiences of children from a civil society perspective
Provide an overview of the Countries in Accession’s priorities regarding the most pressing issues for children and their involvement in EU-funded projects
